Alt Offenbacher Köstlich Snuff by Bernard

Using a snuff recipe dating back to 1923; Alt Offenbacher Köstlich Snuff is made from three highly aromatic tobacco blends, without any additional flavouring.

Alt Offenbacher Köstlich is a 'natural' snuff and is without doubt a 'must try' for lovers of 'naked' snuffs. The flavour of the three natural tobaccos are sweet and spicey.

Easy to take, when tapped through the dosing hole you can see that the snuff is slightly dry and is made up of different coloured tobaccos. A medium to fine snuff, it would be an ideal introduction to natural snuffs for the beginner, or a worthy addition for the expert.

Alt Offenbacher Köstlich comes in 10g plastic cartons, with a sliding dosing hole on the side.

This snuff is marvellous plus all the other superlatives in the previous reviews.There are 3 discernable tobaccos in this blend easily visible to the eye.
This one has that Balkan tobacco flavour to it,dark,moist medium grind and an earthy,smokey flavour.Very easy on the nose and I find I can take a lot of this with ease.
It\'s like walking into your favourite tobacco shop and catching that aroma that hits you when you walk through the door.I cannot speak highly enough of this one.This will be on my must buy list from now on.

(I took a pinch of this whilst drinking a pint of Guinness and just discovered a match made in heaven !)

This is a wonderful snuff very easy to take and the aroma for me is just stunning. It smells just like opening a fresh pack of rolling tobacco. Absolutely lovely!

Yes!!!!

For me this is a must have.... The aroma of a tobacco shop combined with the smell of grandpa's pipe...

I have been enjoying this after work right out of the shower till i go to bed...

A very relaxing, pleasant kick back and read the paper snuff....

A nice treat for the serious snuff enthusiast. Smoky like a latakia this snuff also has a salty sweet plum like scent. I'm reminded a little of pipe tobacco by this one. Some of Molens de Kralingse snuffs have the smokiness but not the oily fermented texture of schmalzers. Nice and strong in the nose. If this is not a one of a kind snuff then I'll need to find out what the other ones are.

Alt Offenbacher Köstlich is a sheer delight. Not too dry, nor too moist, this snuff is like catching the scent of woodsmoke on a crisp winter\'s day when there is a nip to the air. There are subtle fruity undertones at work which add a certain sweetness. Very gentle on the nose this has become as much a treasured companion as Black coffee from Samuel Gawith.
