I have to say I approached this one with some trepidation. The idea of flavouring snuff with cheese just seemed a little strange. Wine? Yes, certainly, and the port wine flavouring in this snuff is deep and distinctive. And then that gentle background of ripe Stilton insinuates itself into the olfactory senses. Oh yes, that works! The wine flavour disappears fairly quickly but I find that I get reprises of the cheese, most pleasantly, for quite some time after indulging. The snuff is of a fine to medium grind but quite fluffy and moist, so is easy on the nose. This has to be the perfect after dinner snuff. It goes perfectly after dinner, with port and Stilton of course.
