Item Description

Princes Snuff by Fribourg & Treyer is blended using Zimbabwe Dark Fired Leaf tobacco.

Princes snuff is flavoured with Tonquin Essence, Musk & Geranium Bourbon.

Historic descriptions of Princes snuff state that it is a rich black snuff for those who prefer a coarse-milled mixture of full bouquet.

The most widely used of the moist varieties. It has strong Regency associations and has retained its appeal for over a century and a half.

Price is for what is described as a 'medium' tin containing approximately 1oz of Princes snuff.

This has been my favourite snuff for the past decade. It is rich and perfumed, packs a punch and does not leave a lingering arriere-gout, if that's the phrase I'm looking for. I'm glad to have found a supply here.

This is a lovely snuff: coarse, moist, black, rich and full - yet not so heavy or perfumed that it can't be used on a daily basis.

It was supposed to have been blended specially dark enough so as not to leave brown stains and specks on the Prince Regent's morning coat.

If it was good enough for him...
