Snuff Store have asked a major UK snuff blender to blend Golden Pinch snuff especially for Snuff Store customers.

Golden Pinch snuff is blended to a unique recipe, it is a fine golden brown slightly moist snuff that has the scent of rose, violet, lavender, camphorwood, cedarwood and other floral scents and flavours, providing this snuff with a beautiful 'bouquet' which is bound to please the nose.

Snuff Store customers may recognise Golden Pinch as 'Sample 1' snuff, which we have previously been sending out to customers as a 'taster' - whilst it was being finalised and blended, for thoughts, feedback and comments. Golden Pinch was well received and is now on general release.

Golden Pinch will be suitable for both new and experienced snuffers. It has a long lasting scent that is pleasantly refreshing.

Golden Pinch snuff is sold in 10g aluminuim screw top tins. Perfect for filling a snuff box with or dipping in to.

Good morning to you and I hope today brings many fine snuffing moments.
Not sure that the name is right to be honest, Gardener's Glory or Summer Cuttings would be worthy substitutes?
This snuff has a good consistancy and is very easy to take and the little tins that it now comes in are right on the mark.

The snuff itself has an array of boquet experiences but for me, the main introduction is just like smelling fresh cut Daffodils. Its the sort of snuff to have on Mother's Day!
Basically, its floral with slight citrus and has a kind of pollen to it. Not one that I could have too much of if the truth be known. I prefer a much more 'bite' and less flowery.

May be a good summer snuff.

I would like to say that its a very good blend of citrus with that hint of sweet flavour. Its a bit fine and dry but you may be suprised with its. So have a tri you may fined it pleasant like I did. Put it in to a snuff box or tin as the bag is a bit fiddle.

Back in my late teens [around 1979 or 1980] I discovered there was more to snuff than the little blue boxes my local paper-shop sold! The wonderful Vivan Rose [then owner of G Smith's on London's Charing Cross Road] introduced me to a number of delicacies and delights, including his own Golden Cardinal.

Returning to the pleasure of snuff in more recent years, and unable to travel to London to purchase it, I enquired of the Master Blender of one of the oldest mills whether there was anything "similar to Golden Cardinal" in his range or elsewhere.

I was duly pointed to Golden Pinch!

Carefully decanted from the double-sealed bags [Snuff Store certainly like to make sure this work of art stays fresh, yet they keep the postage cost down!] I left my tin open a little while [this snuff almost needs to "breathe" a little - somewhat like a good wine - and sampled.

This really is a gem of a snuff, with a wonderful mix of woody and citrus notes, very light floral touch, on a base of seriously good tobacco.

Delight!

Memories of those days when I still lived in London came flooding back; appreciated all the more for some of the other snuffs I have tried in recent times.

This blend is another masterpiece, which deserves to find a strong following.
