Submited By: Tony Seaton on 06/19/2010 My preferences in snuff are seasonal: In the summer I like fruity, "natural" and some "perfumed" varieties. In the winter months I go more for the menthols and medicated varieties.
Hedges offers a superb mixture of medicated scents and aromas, coupled with a healthy nicotine kick and superb winter-nose-clearing properties.
In the deep mid-winter I seem to use more Hedges than any other variety - both on its own, and blended : Hedges 1:1 with Jip when the winter bugs really try to take hold, or around 1 part Hedges to 2 or 3 parts Wilson's [Sharrow] Best SP as a lighter-flavoured version when Spring starts to arrive.
