Item Description

McChrystal's Mild Lemon Snuff is a fine dry-ish snuff with a zesty citrus fresh flavour of lemons.

This snuff has a noticeable lemon smell to it without even having to open the box!

The citrus flavour in lemon snuff is strong (at least in the box we tried) and seems to linger in the nose for quite a while. This snuff comes in a 8g plastic box with a flip side serving opening.

Definitely one for those who like their snuff to have a kick.

I enjoyed the slightly citrus scent of this snuff, described perfectly on the tin. The mild lemon is however dominated slightly too much by the icy feel. Makes for partners with McChrystal's Raspberry Snuff as the mild flavours mix rather well.

This is the first time I have tried a snuff from McChrystals and genuinely enjoyed it, but not without a couple of snags

Firstly, the good bits. This has a really fresh lemon scent that is not overpowerring nor harsh. It has an almost perfect 1:1 ration with tobacco notes and too me this is wonderful and exactly what I am looking for from a citrus snuss. The texture is a little finer and dryer that I would normally prefer, but I can forgive that in return for the wonderful flavour

However the container is a little cumbersome. It leaks snuff from all corners and is in no way air tight. Also there is no way of taking a regular sized helping as the side flip openning is no large and the snuff so dry that it is almost impossible to get any less that a torrent when trying to dispense,

One to be transferred to a snuff box I think, but I can live with that. The snuff itself is wonderful

This McChrystals is true to its name. I expect the powder to turn yellow as I inhale it. As advertised! That\'s great!

Personally the savors of tobacco and lemon don\'t go together for me though.

If you take a small pinch of Mild Lemon you can still call it Mild Lemon, but take a big pinch and \"Mild\" has no place in the name. To me it smells more like Lemon zest than anything else. It is one of my top citrus snuffs. The only thing I don\'t like about it is the case it comes in. I prefer to pinch my snuff, rather than sniff from the back of the hand. The plastic dispenser makes this difficult. Taken from a snuff box/bottle this is one of the best snuffs you can find.

McChrystal\'s Mild Lemon Snuff is a product with some ups and downs.

Let\'s start with the ups.

For me McChrystal\'s have the perfect grind and texture. For whatever reason they agree perfectly with my nose and never cause any type of discomfert or any sneezing fits. Mild Lemon is no different.

The scent of the Mild Lemon is very nice also, unlike the Wilson\'s Lemon Grove which has a touch of a floral note to it. This here is pure Lemon Flavor and is quite well done and myself I feel it may be very, very lightly mentholated.

Now for the Downs...

The Red flip top container that McChrystal\'s sends some of their snuffs in is horrible. It is not airtight and leaks snuff all over the place. Unfortunately this is the container my Mild Lemon came in.

In closing, this is a quality snuff sent in a poor package, but is definately worth a purchase. Just be ready to empty your snuff into a more suitable container ASAP or risk having it dry out real fast....

After trying over 20 snuffs in the past two months, I really think McCrystals Mild Lemon is going to become my \"go-to\" snuff. The Lemon sent is not over powering, but give you just the right amount of aroma. to me, it smells like a fresh cut lemon. the Nictotine power is similar to other McCrystals and I feel is stronger than Wilsons, but on par with Toque. The ever handy plastic container is also a real plus. Perfect for your pocket, and pouring onto the back of the hand. Just writing this review makes me want to take a pinch right now...
