Here is a nice story for you to enjoy. When I was 17 I joined British Rail under Margaret Thantchers YTS scheme. I earned £26.50 per week and at the end of my allocated year I was told there were "no jobs" so had to make way for the next YTS victim. Yes. I agree. Cheap labour.
However, whilst working for BR I met a gentlemen who kept sniffing this brown powder up his nose. After my curiosity he told me in his finest northern accent "Its snuff lad, wanna pinch? So pinch I did. It happened to be J&H Wilson No 99 Medicated. It blew my head off and he laughed pretty much like we all do.
25 years later (since being a Tailor, a Police trainer, a nurse and an Ambulance medic ) I find myself back on the Railways working for Southern at yes.... the very same station! So....armed with a tin of Wilsons No 99 I have recently found a victim who like me, had no idea. Basically, I have become the man who got me 25 years ago and I even got hi with the northern accent!
This snuff has become pure nostagia for me and is as good now as it was then. Its strong, a hint of bergamot and has a delicious finish. There are some metal tins still out there so grab some today, its one of the best in my opinion but maybe I am biased. Best wishes, Laurie

One of my very first snuffs and a genuine nostalgic pleasure to reaquaint myself with it. Very smooth, for a menthol snuff, and lighter in tone, as well as colour & grind, than "Hedges". It doesn't last as long in the nose as "Hedges" but is still very refreshing. It seems to have a touch of citrus about it, as well as the usual 'medicated' aromas. There is also a suprising & pleasing after-scent of fresh button mushrooms (but that could just be my own olfactory sense playing me false). I much prefer the little tin (and in my youth it was a tin & not thin plastic) that tucks nicely into the pocket as opposed to these dispensers with a hole in the side; so much easier to take a good pinch rather than scattering it to the 4 winds & down your shirt front. This is marvelous stuff & I shall always keep some to hand.

truely medicated, fresh and blissful snuff. feels cool and medicinal in nose without irritation, easy to take allthough fine grind and dry. a must try for nicotinists, full in flavour which is refined for perfection.

I love menthol snuff and this one was a very pleasant surprise as it\'s a new one to me and I wasn\'t sure what to expect.
On the first opening of any new tin I like to inhale deeply through the nose and get an idea of what\'s to come.This one takes you by surprise.What you get is a pleasant menthol nose but when you actually come to take it - Wow! A very strong menthol indeed!
You only need a small pinch to get the full flavour and it really packs a punch - I love it! Typical of J&H Wilson it\'s a fine ground snuff,medium to light brown colour and one that I will most certainly have on my \"Must have\" list in the future.

its one of the strongest i`ve ever tried. its fantastic good. the snuff is in a little box, so you can have it where ever you are:) try it
