I'm giving this snuff the same rating as John, although my experience was somewhat different. The greater part of my limited snuffing experience has been with McChrystal's O&G and J&H Wilson's No99. In other words, fairly strong mentholated snuffs. I found that the Gold Mull was a very pleasant change of pace: moderately perfumed, and even more moderately mentholated. In all, a quite gentle, and easy to use, snuff. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to a beginning snuffer. I tend to be using, and really enjoying, it early in the day, and then setting it aside in favour of the more muscular snuffs.
