Far more gentle than, let's say, Hedges or McChrystals O&G, this is a soothing menthol, not a WAKE UP NOW! menthol. Complexly spiced, but not overly, the medium grind is complemented by its light moistness. It is no were near as coarse, fierce or astringent as their KB Special nor as dusty as their Apple or Blue Crest (a farmyard in a box; lovely stuff).
If you've not tried a menthol snuff before or you've been frightend off by the eye-watering ferocity of some of the more well known menthols I would recommend this one. It's easy to take & interesting in the nose. Enjoy.
