Silver Snuff Box Hunting Dog Cameo Design

The beautiful silver snuff box has a hunting dog cameo design on the lid. It is .925 silver and hallmarked on the reverse of the box, finished to a high polish.

The silver weight of this snuff box is approximately 60g and it feels very solid and 'weighty' when held in the palm of the hand. It is the one of the heaviest in silver value snuff boxes that we currently carry in stock and is most certainly a quality and eye catching silver snuff box.

The silver hunting dog design snuff box is a rectangle shape approximately 5.5cm long and 4cm wide. It has a 'usable' depth of about 1cm. The lid has the hunting dog cameo design and the sides and back of the box are plain highly polished silver.

It would hold in our opinion 6 - 7g or so of snuff; so depending on your usage levels, should hold enough snuff for at least a day.

If you're having trouble imagining that amount, then it would / should hold the quantity of a carton of Red Bull or President snuff.

The silver snuff box itself is 'hinged' and the lid closes tightly with a 'snap' and is snuff proof. The hindge is on the outside of the box and when the box is closed / open does not come in to contact with the snuff and so will not clog. However care should always be taken when filling to ensure that snuff doesn't clog the hindge.
