Silver Snuff Box Equestrian Scene Cameo Design

The beautiful silver snuff box has an image of five horses in a cameo design on the lid. It is hallmarked .925 silver on the reverse of the box and finished to a high polish.

The silver equestrian cameo design snuff box is a retangle shape approximately 3.5cm long and 2.5cm wide. It has a 'usable' depth of about 1cm. The actual silver weight of this snuff box is approximately 21g.

It would hold in our opinion 3 - 4g of snuff; so depending on your usage levels, should hold enough snuff for about a day.

If you're having trouble imagining that amount, then it would / should easily hold the quantity of a small J & H Wilsons snuff tin.

The silver snuff box itself is 'hinged' and the lid closes tightly with a 'snap' and is snuff proof. The hinge is on the outside of the box and when the box is closed / open does not come in to contact with the snuff and so will not clog. However care should always be taken when filling to ensure that snuff doesn't clog the hinge.
