Silver Snuff Box Two Dogs Round Cameo Design

The beautiful silver snuff box has a image showing two dogs in a cameo design on the lid. It is hallmarked on the reverse of the box and finished to a high polish.

The silver two dogs round design snuff box is a round shape approximately 2.5 cm in diameter. It has a 'usable' depth of about 1cm. The silver weight of this snuff box is approximately 13g.

It would hold in our opinion 2 - 3g of snuff; so depending on your usage levels, should hold enough snuff for about a day.

If you're having trouble imagining that amount, then it would / should hold the approximate quantity of a small J & H Wilsons snuff tin.

The silver snuff box itself is 'hinged' and the lid closes tightly with a 'snap' and is snuff proof. The hindge is on the outside of the box and when the box is closed / open does not come in to contact with the snuff and so will not clog. However care should always be taken when filling to ensure that snuff doesn't clog the hindge.
