Snuff Store was initially set up by us as snuff takers, we launched the online snuff site due to the difficulty we found in obtaining fresh and varied snuff in our local area. We now through Snuff Store enable other snuff takers to obtain snuff online. Fundementally taking snuff is our hobby, it just so happens that now we also run a snuff store, as well as assisting other snuff takers obtain supplies of a historic tobacco product that has generally (and sadly) gone out of 'fashion' in main stream and high st stores. Snuff quite rightly enjoys 'historic' protection under UK law from high tax rates imposed on other forms of tobacco sale.
When we launched Snuff Store, we intended to have a no fuss and nonsense approach to dealing with other snuff taking customers. It is our aim to provide you with the kind of service that we would expect to receive when using other online shops. No fuss and no nonsense. If you're unhappy with our service, have a complaint or think your parcel has gotten lost or damaged in the post, want to speak to us about anything else regarding your snuff order or snuff in general contact us. We'd love to speak to you and we'll sort out any problem to the best of our ability.

Guarantee - General no quibble guarantee. We guarantee your satisfaction. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 28 days of the date of despatch, with your receipt, providing it is still in its original packing. Nothing in the above guarantee affects your statutory legal rights.
Shipping (Postage) And Handling - It is our aim to process all orders the same or next day following receipt of order. We have a business account with the Royal Mail, they pick up post from us on a daily basis Monday to Friday and we will try our upmost to get your order out the same day. Orders made over the Weekend (Friday afternoon through to Sunday) will go out in the post bag on Monday.
We post UK domestic mail using the Royal Mail's recorded and special delivery service. This is a fully tracked and insured post service and dependant on order value or choice you can upgrade your delivery to special delivery (which is usually a quicker service) if in the case of value, the site automatically only offers special delivery as the only delivery option, to ensure your item is insured whilst in transit.
For orders outside of the UK, we post via the Royal Mail International Air Mail and International Signed for service. Dependant on order value your delivery will be upgraded to International Signed for service to ensure your order is insured whilst in transit.
We can also if preferred arrange delivery to you via a courier service. We use a courier broker to ensure that you get value for money. If you have special requirements for your snuff delivery, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Payment - We can accept payment via all the major credit / debit cards.
Additionally we can accept payment via bank transfer and cheques drawn on UK pound sterling - GBP. Please contact us and we will assist you with these transactions if needs be.
Privacy Policy - Snuff Store does not disclose buyer's information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.
Personal details, such as email addresses, postal codes and telephone numbers are held on our database to enable fulfilment of your order and, if you have given your consent, so we can alert you to any future offers available through the online store. These details are held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will not be shared with any other organisation unless required to do so by law. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfil customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
Returns Policy - We offer a full refund to all customers if goods turn out to be faulty or different from those ordered. If there is a problem please return the items to the address below, stating the nature of the problem and quoting your order number and personal details.
Upon receipt of the items we will contact you within three working days to arrange refund or exchange (all refunds will be re-credited to the purchasing credit / debit card account - including any additional postage charges incurred).
Refunds will be credited back to your account upon receipt of the items. This process normally takes no more than two weeks.
Lost Mail
Our mail is protected by the Royal Mail's insurance quoted for each individual post option. Full Refunds or compensation will be given for lost mail where goods are not prohibited in the country where the order originates or the country is known for having a corrupt postal service and is prone to mail loss or is on a Royal mail high risk list. No refunds or compensation will be given if goods ordered are prohibited for mailing in a particular country. All orders from countries with restrictions on the mailing of tobacco are the responsibility of the person placing the order. Please check that tobacco is not restricted in your country before placing an order.
