Westfalen Prise Snuff

Westfalen Prise Snuff has a description on the back of the packet which roughly translates as; Snuff with refreshing flavour. A treat for connoisseurs.

Westfalen Prise Snuff is another snuff that is considered difficult to obtain in the UK. It is manufactured in South Africa for Swedish Match, then imported back into Europe by Arnold Andre.

On the packet it is described as a menthol snuff, it also has eucalyptus, aniseed and scent on opening the packet of ammonia, which of course is a good sign of freshness. There is also a base tobacco scent that is quite noticable.

Westfalen Prise itself is a joy of a snuff, it is fine and moist (if it's too moist then I suggest removing from the packet and airing it for a while) enough to hold it's pinch when pinched together between forefinger and thumb. It has a brown colour and is suitable for both beginners and experts alike. I would suggest taking small pinches at first to fine your level - due to the fine grind of the snuff.

Westfalen Prise is sold in 10g sachet, so you will need to either fold down the edge after opening or better still, it could be kept in a snuff box fitting to it's name.
