this was actually first snuff I've ever tried. I found the texture and aroma most pleasing. The aroma is nicely balanced, aniseed is rich in flavour and combines beautifully with mild eucalyptus and naturally . . tobacco. Leaves nose fresh and healthy like visiting pine forest. I would say this is rich and enjoyable snuff round and full in flavour and effect. true quality product!

I'm not a great lover of aniseed, but this was not bad. It actually reminded me more of fennel than aniseed. The eucalyptus side is not overly pronounced, but you will feel the nose clearing effect it provides without the help of menthol.
The grind is medium and the moisture is medium. The color is brown. Relatively easy for a beginner to use. Nice sweet characteristic too. I give three stars (but if I were an aniseed lover it would be higher.)

Most of the 'Wilsons of Sharrow' range of snuffs are of extremely high quality, but this particular one does it for me. Gentle, mild and fragrant. The ideal tonic for a wakey-wake in the morning or a quick pinch in the pub at night. Besides that, I used to love aniseed balls as a child (and still do)
