Grand Cairo is a snuff well worthy of its heir and title. Its just the sort of snuff I would expect to buy whilst meandering through the trade markets of the Middle East. It has a wonderful sunset desert colour and the consistancy is about where it needs to be.

Flavour-wise it has a lovely infusion of Bergamot and there is a pungent undertone of Lemon to be found. On first use if too much is taken it can be quite overpowering but again, faint hearts etc???
I can imagine myself dipping into this throughout the day and it is one that I would definately take with me if I were travelling to Middle Eastern hot climes. Indeed.

This is rather fine for a rappee, moist with a nice reddish brown colour to it.
The first thing you notice is a nice citrus tang followed by an evident bergemot flavour.
It\'s very easy on the nose and I love the fruitiness of it. This is one that I find myself dipping into all day long,I can\'t seem to get enough of it!
Highly recommended.

A reddish brown, quite fine, medium moist SP style snuff. Fluffier and easier to take than other SPs from Wilsons of Sharrow. An aroma of bergamot, lemon zest and cardamom, followed by floral notes and a hint of cloves. The bergamot dominates, whilst the other flavours are subtle and all the better for it. One pinch leads to another without sneezyness or queasyness. A beginners SP snuff.

My first impression is that of the citrus flavor, however, I picked up a secondary scent similar to pine or juniper followed by lemon. A very tasty yet complex snuff. Enjoyable and filled with surprises.

The colour of Saharan sand, this wonderful snuff certainly lives up to its name. Very finely powdered, I made the mistake of being a bit greedy at first - and yes it turned out to be quite sneezy. There is a subtle hint of sweetish tobacco hidden in this blend, which contrasts nicely with the flowery top notes. It's not a snuff I go for every day, but it's one I always return to. Very pleasant.

Grand Cairo is red alright with a very strong and somewhat spicy scent. Hints of cinnamon, cardamom, clove, allspice and coriander. Strangely they are just hints and none of those scents are fully realized in this obviously bergamot scented snuff. It must be the tobacco that harbors these spicy far east fragrances. Noticeably sharp and drying in the nose. Another bergamot delight with a twist. I would recommend getting it just for the color of the tobacco alone. If one could smell color he would smell it in this tobacco.
