This quite fine, soft snuff does very nicely by it self, neither sweet nor sharp, but it has proved invaluable in tempering the excesses of almost any other \'destinct\' snuff. Menthol getting too sharp & eye-watering? A goodly measure of \"Irish\" will take the sting out of it. Fruity snuff too sweet & cloying? A good pinch of \"No.20\" will savoury it up a treat. Schmaltz -like snuff a bit too moist or coarse? A touch of \"Toast\" will soak up the excess or thin it out & make it much more managable. Its\' very neutrality is its\' strength and I shall not be without a tin close to hand, especially when I\'ve got new snuffs to experiment with. Excellent stuff!
