Submited By: Tony Seaton on 07/23/2010 I think one or two previous posters have confused "strong snuff" with snuff bearing a strong aroma or flavour.
This is a beautifully crafted SP, made from quality tobaccos, with a subtle bergamot finish. The term "extra strong" describes the character of the tobacco/preparation, and consequent nicotine hit.
Where this snuff really excels for me, compared to some other strong snuffs [like Jip, Pöschl's Red Bull] is that it delivers a glorious lift without heavy flavouring. This is a fine example of an SP of light aroma and deep, satisfying tobacco qualities. It's also neither excessively dry nor so fine ground as to make it difficult to take.
Tom Buck is a definite resident on my study desk; at times when I am writing or composing, I want that lift, without too much flavour to distract my creative thoughts.
Strongly recommended.
[For a strong camphor/menthol hit, try Hedges, McChrstals' Original - or Jip if you also want the nicotine wake-up call! I love these in the winter months ... for strength with a slightly more fruity - if somewhat 'artificial' taste, try Red Bull]
